I'm actually impressed with the speed we are going at so far... Things are progressing very quickly, and hopefully it's draft time tomorrow! If those last 2 guys have emails or IM's posted on the Contact thread, someone should try and get their attention.
I'm fairly confident that I won't be the league whipping boy. Then again, I may not have been last ;)

Again, my apologies. However, I never saw a date and thought after the holidays would be slightly later than the 2nd. I already have my preference sliders in mind so my file will be sent ASAP when I get home from work.

Thanks for posting, Eagles. Like I said, I figured I'd cut people some slack over the holidays so that's no problem. People are in a rush to get their teams drafted, but I said I'd give people until late Wednesday so you're still under the wire anyway.

As for San Diego, well, bk is being replaced. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I've already dispatched an email to his likely replacement. We've got a few people on the waiting list, so no worries. I'll just need to send whoever it is some updated league files because I assume they'll want to change their team name and city.

Make them stick to the West Coast. We don't want to screw up the divisions now that they are pretty rock solid.

If the first guy on the list wants the spot, he originally wanted Houston. That's not too far off. And it's not like there aren't some misaligned teams in divisions in every major sport. If people think it's a big deal, I'll make whoever takes the spot play further west than that.

Get used to it. The OOTP league only has 20 teams and it seems like we're replacing people all the time. We still have 14 out of the 20 originals, it's just difficult to fill those last few spots with reliable people rather than people like Acid who say they don't have time, then join other text sim leagues.

                    • Yeah, I thought that was strange about Acid. Also, it is always hard to get a full league of dedicated owners. Most good leagues have around 2/3 of the league as solid owners.

With the activity i've seen in this league, it looks pretty promising.

It'll take less time to do exports for this league, but whatever.

                        • If he wanted Houston, I would think that would be okay. I'm the only team in Texas right now.

Hopefully we can get an answer soon and he can get his file in quickly.

We should get a pool going on (a) how long it will take Acid to run his team into the ground in this league like in the BLB, and (b) whether or not he'll leave this league after he does so like in the BLB.

FYI, I'll need to change his team name and location in-game and send him new league files, after which he'll need to send me his preference draft export. That process can't start until I get home from work and can access FOF tonight. And I'm still waiting for a response to my email.

So, in closing, don't hold your breath.... :)
