Ok, the league files are ready. First, a warning. As part of this process, you will choose your draft preferences. It doesn't take a long time, and you can repeat this process and overwrite the file you create, but you will create a file when you complete this process. Just letting you know.
You will need the following files:
frfoot.fcy
frfoot.fgr
frfoot.fni

Here are the steps to follow for starting up your multi-player career.
1) After backing up these files if they already exist, copy the three files above to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\universe. (This assumes you've followed the normal install procedures for the game - otherwise navigate to your FOF "universe" folder and drop them in there).
2) Start FOF as you normally would.
3) Bring up the Multi-Player Controls tab (the head icon on the upper right of the game screen).
4) Choose "Enter New Career."
5) Input the following information: For League ID, use "OSFL2007" (all caps). Choose your team. And make sure "Begin with Preference or Complete Draft" is selected.
6) After clicking ok, you will now see the "Set Draft Preferences" screen. Set your preferences as you like and click continue.
7) You should now see an "Export Succeeded" notice screen. It will tell you where the export file has been created that you need to send to me. Navigate to this file, outside of FOF, and send it to me via email. My email is in the owner contact list. Please include your team name in the email.
In the future, we will have centralized locations linked from these forums where you can download league files. You will also be able to upload your exports to this site instead of sending them directly to me via email. But to get things rolling, this is a temporary solution.
When I have all the exports, I'll start the league and the draft will run. In the meantime, I'll draft some rules for the league and post them in the rules forum.
