Next SIM Friday 05/25 = PRE1!. Files due by 6pm ET.

And that's that. Hopefully everyone got the booms they were looking for and dodged the busts they feared . . . though we can't all have gotten what we wanted.

Do we need to have our rosters under a certain limit?

          Woohoo!!

          WR Harward 51/80 to 58/80
          T Joseph 14/60 to 26/62

DE Vanover 60/71 to 69/71, he should get better during the year.
          S Brooks 41 to 51, not bad for a 9yr vet.

Only a couple of drops but they won't affect me, as I'll cut those guys before the 53 man roster takes effect, and I drafted or picked in FA depth at those positions.

          Very happy with this TC.

My biggest concern was how my first round pick would fare. Fared well!

                  TE Artie Summers
                  Before - 47/62
                  After - 53/67

                  Woot!

Yeah nobody likes how that TE turned out. FWIW my scout has 48/66->54/70, so....yeah. Any chance you'd like to trade him?

The biggest victory I scored this camp was probably Earnest Giang holding in ratings (0/0). I've seen this happen before to some stud RB and he promptly fell off the map a year later. And retired the year after that. Please don't do this to me Earnest.

Luckily it looks like we've found a solid backup option in round 5. If Giang should retire in two years, we'll have Lightning (Herman Woods) and Thunder (Ryan Green).

As expected, we had a lot of droppers in the draft class. What was unexpected was that many of them were of the 1 or 2 point variety. We did have a VSOD from a 4th round WR, but 2nd rounder from last year WR Howard Emerson creeped above his original future rating.

Overall I'm happier than I thought I would be after camp, and now I have some tough cuts to make

                            Brandon Sponable - -31/-31 :(

                            Nate Graham - -27/-27 :( :(

Those hurt, big-time. I figured Brandon would drop, but not that precipitously. And I did not see Graham going down in flames like that.

We got real old, real fast. Apart from those two, 6 other starters went -6/-6 or worse.

Overall, pretty bad camp. Only positives were 2nd year LB Kyle Musgrove going +9/+6, and Austin picking up another formation. A 3-wide one, at that. He also went +1/+1, so he's definitely getting another year at the helm.
