Cut test

Sef0r said over at the FOFC forums that when you cut a player in MP, his scouted rating becomes the rating of the commissioner's scout.

I thought, that'd be easy to verify.

Brad, this is a really low priority request, but if you could post what you see as the ratings for the following players on my team, it'd be great! --

1. QB Randy Boone
2. TE Mario Bradford
3. TE Billy Ballard
4. WR Winston Reynolds
5. WILB Troy Conant, and the value of his Run Defense and ST bars.
6. CB Benjamin Chmelik

Which would mean it's useless unless his scout is better at a certain position group than yours.

Ben also said that the better your scout is, the worse he is at seeing masked players. So you probably want your scout to be better here.

I just have never or almost never seen a case where it wasn't right, so I'm quite skeptical of it being meaningless. Like OG Jared Craig, who I kept around despite 0 movement in his rookie TC. He went up in the staff hiring stage, so it seems that he was a masked creeper, and his positive cut test was a good sign.

And this:

Your scout always will be worse than opposing scouts on masked guys on his own team, which is problematic.

...which makes it quite meaningful again.

Everybody matches except for Conant.

After cutting him, I have 46/51, a RD bar of 73/82, and ST of 31/46.

Guess it is not the commissioner's scout after all. Thanks for taking the time to do this, Brad.
