Congratulations FoosballWizard on a championship well deserved. That defense was one for the ages. You went up against three top 5 offenses in the playoffs and just shut them down.
During the regular season Utah, Camden and Columbus finished 2nd (30.9), 3rd (30.1), and 5th (28.7) in points scored. The Totems held these three teams to a combined 33 points.
All three of these teams were also in the top 5 in the league in 3rd down conversion percentage (Columbus 2nd 47.3%, Camden 3rd 47.2% and Utah 5th 44.8%) and Dakota held them to a combined 8/36 (22.2%) on third downs.
Just finally got a chance to watch the last 3 rounds of the playoffs in Solevision and I have to say after watching your defense just embarrass Boone and Tubbs it makes makes our loss (and Baumgartner's 141.1 QB rating) a bit more bearable.
It also really makes me wish I had made on offer on Camilleri when you had him up on the block.

Makes me even more impressed by my defense when I read those statistics, Camden!
I'm going to try to cobble together a respectable team to make another run in the upcoming season, but the Totems are about the oldest team in the league and I'm sure at least 2-3 of our starters won't be back due to expiring contracts and diminishing effectiveness. I'll be away the 15-22 too so I might miss the beginning of free agency, although I'm going to see if I can get on with my laptop and put a few exports in.
I have one more dragon to slay in Yuma, haven't been able to beat them yet! It's nice to finally feel like I'm getting to the same level as the strongest teams in our conference like Camden, Columbus, Gainesville, SF and Yuma as my teams have felt a notch below the big boys until this season. Should be very competitive conference this season with a lot of teams with talented owners taking a step up, especially SMD who beat us pretty handily mid season.
