      Garner started off the day 3/4 for about 150 yards and 2 scores, but drops caused him and the rest of our offense to sputter the rest of the game. 5 drops in 23 attempts is really bad.

      Lucky for us, the defense was up to task, bending only slightly and rarely breaking, which allowed us to hold the lead and put the game away late with a TD after North Liberty turned it over on downs deep in their own end with the clock under 2 minutes.

      While I would like to see our receivers step their games up, Garner has been outstanding in his 2 starts and looks to be the guy we thought he was coming out. We'll hopefully just get better and more consistent as he progresses.
