Gainsville vs Portland

So after a week one win over Kalispel - Portland was feeling pretty good about the way they played, but after this BEATDOWN they recieved the Portland staff is going to have to go back to the drawing board. The pass defense got torched and they couldn't run the ball to save their lives. Other then that, the inefficiency on first down led to long third down situations where Gainsville continually put pressure and got sacks and interceptions.

My coach tried to give the game back to you by throwing more than was necessary. This is the second year in a row this has been going on. It's either me or him. I'm pretty sure we know who's at fault here.

Big penalties killing us. Roughing the kicker in a punt with less than three minutes left and leading by 3. Then holding in a 41yd return in our next drive for try to win. And of course, face mask in our last drive to kill our options. I don't think we deserved to win, the playcalling was awful, but that's just excesive bad luck.

Yeah, the ball definitely bounced our way most of the game. (You did benefit from that blocked kick though!) We will take the win even if it is a gift! GG Edirash. GL the remainder of the season!
