I think we should be able to give hold outs the contract they wish. Most of the time they have multiple yrs left on their deal.

If you wait until after camp, is there a risk he ends his holdout then? That would be bad. I'm glad Clay got to re-sign his QB after he ended his holdout, but it seems like a pretty scary situation.

Wow, I agree. Don't re-sign him. He has two years left on his deal anyway. If you still want him in his 12th year when his contract runs out, franchise him and save yourself the money.
