Woah, looks like some owners stepped up and beat me big on some of my more targeted players. Didn't really expect that to happen with say, Reuben Semple (ILB - Pearl Harbor) who I wanted for the affinity...but I haven't taken a deep look at the file yet.

The disappointments are mostly wiped out by the big splash of landing James Harden. I was afraid I'd get into a bidding war over him and I'm glad he took what I put out on the table the first week.

And man did people go after Borders... This year's Mr. Popular, I think.

Although now that I look at it, even more people went after Harden. How nice of him to only ask for a one-year contract.

Yeah, I really went after it on that guy.

I guess it's because I thought he was most comparable in skills to WR Marvin Daluiso, formerly of Morgantown. Bidding got heavy on him and I had to give him so much money. So this was one guy I really didn't want bidding to get even started on. Looks like I overpayed Harden...but I thought that there would be some other high offers on him.

But woops, there goes my free cap space. One of these years I'm going to land myself in serious cap trouble.

And I like it when it's hard to tell who I am jacking up :)

What are some interesting FA battles that are about to get underway?

Of the ones I am not in, I am seeing a pretty intriguing war on QB Justin Zandofsky. Punxsutawney is stepping it up to keep their 7th-year backup signal caller, but he's 48/50 and Yuma and Motor City are both coming calling. Three very equal and handsome offers.

Of the ones I am in, I keep noticing one other team stepping up to the plate and pushing me out...and that's Boston. That's you, isn't it, mike? Turd
