  • Reminder: last chance to re-sign players this week

Just a reminder. Check everyone year 4 and above (year 3 and below become RFAs) and make sure you re-sign the ones you want now to long-term deals.

Don't let your core players hit FA! Once the Super Bowl is run, that is where they are headed.

Agreed. We now have a streamlined league with 4 sims a week, and we're slowly but surely filling open spots with good GMs. Its nice.

We're going very fast! I did not think the pace would be faster than before, but didn't realize there'd be 4 games/week as opposed to 3. It is hectic sometimes, but I like it.

The fast pace suits me just fine, I often find myself jonesing for some Solevision. :)

I'm always open to ideas as far as the SIM schedule goes. If Sunday to Monday is too quick of a turn around I could look at adjusting that. Maybe push the Monday SIM back to 9pm or so to give more time in between.

Or just do every other day: Week 1 - M W F Su Week 2 T Th Sa back to M, not quite 4 SIMs a week, but still accelerated. I'm open to whatever works best for the league. Too much down time lends itself to disinterest. Too fast and it could scare off some owners.

I like the set days as it's much harder to forget than when the schedule always changes. Personally, I'm fine with the way things are.

I am happy with the current schedule. I wouldn't mind every other day either but as mentioned that can be harder to keep track of. The Sunday-Monday turnaround is fast sometimes, but it is not a big deal. The brisk pace is better than a big layover every week, IMO.

But whatever works for the most people. I'm indifferent.

I like a consistent schedule every week; it is much easier to keep track of. That does include playoffs. :) I was thinking a Friday sim and so missed my chance to renegotiate with my players.

Keep the schedule, but adjust some of the outdated rules. ;)
