Ah, a much needed win. Nice to see Diblaiso put up some numbers and a TD. I bumped up his playing time this week fromthe usual because I felt he deserved it and it paid off.

We fumbled 4 times this week, that's 9 in two weeks of play. Way too much. People will be carrying around footballs all this week. Shame, shame, shame.

Lose to a winless team, beat an undefeated team the next week. Any given Sunday applies fully to the Yuma Aces.

Was very happy to see the offense continue to put the yards up and actually come through with a few touchdowns this week, which was key to the game. We didn't really limit Rudzinski and Wynn much, but we slowed them down enough to get a few stops on D and the run defense was stellar. Rusty Tubbs came up with the play of the game picking off his older brother Bobby with very little time left and us nursing a 1 point lead. Now if I can just get Sammy Dillon to slow down on the turnovers, we might be ok. Lots of tough teams still left on the schedule though, 3 of our last 4 have winning records.

GG Columbus, maybe we will see you again on a bigger stage.

Rico Whalen threw 2 TDs this week to tie the All-Time Passing TD mark of 400 for his career (tied with Dusty Cowell). He hit the mark in his 201st career game. Quite a few milestones happening around here recently.

Finally beat Camden. Big monkey off my back. Glad to finally be getting some production out of Grant Giefeke these past 3 weeks.

Got absolutely raped by that offense. Even worse than I expected. Shedd completes 80% of his passes. His 53 goddamn passes. Port City gains 566 yards of silliness. They average a 3rd-and-8 and convert 12 of 18 anyway.

Somehow the Bees miraculously make a game of it, with some dice roll BS. Kein Cate Interception in the endzone as Port City gets inside the 10 yard line. KR for a touchdown to start the second half. A 12-play, 86 yard drive at the end of the 4th that ends with a touchdown pass to Colin Fletcher as time expires (what a frickin'g amazing ending to regulation!), followed by a 2-pt conversion to tie the game.

All for naught, because Port City wins in overtime. We had a chance after stopping them on their first drive in OT, but we couldn't do anything about it and they easily get the FG on their second try.

As with our game last week, Nutah, I think you have something special (or at least solid) going on with your special teams. They're keeping you in games and perhaps winning you a few.

Yeah, I think they are a pretty solid unit. Keeping me in games I have no business being in, and making up a little bit for a roster that is just not good enough.

Love that kickoff specialist I signed of Anchorage.

That was a (somewhat) fun game to watch. I figured why not go for and gameplanned a heavy pass offense. If i didnt know this was all simulation, i would say the Bees play with a lot of guts. GG Nutah. Told you it was a toss up!

You got both Offensive and Defensive player of the week in the game, but I'll take the win :-)

Got 2 games in hand for the #1 seed with 4 games left, good place to be and got St Paul next week AND 10-0 conference record should give me the tie breaker
