Ya know, it just figures. It's not a huge secret that I may be looking at QB in this draft (especially after just releasing Skeen), and I'm not really seeing a top 5 quality one, let alone one that may fall to the later picks. Some decent ones, but haven't seen one that excites me... yet.
On the other side, I've been pretty fortunate in WR drafting the last few years, so it's (for once) not my primary need.
Yep, pretty much entirely a cap move. I probably could've nickel & dimed and kept him, but going to take my chances in the draft/FA and have Eisenbart as an insurance policy.
As you can see I fail to use him properly. (He actually had a good first part of the year last year, then my offense just sputtered.) Anyway, I hadn't actually put him on my trade block, but ...
Edit: Actually added him to the block. Probably not what you're looking for Jughead with his price tag, but here's hoping someone needs a rather studly QB to help get them to the playoffs.
