        Yea, that's amazing that he stuck around for so long as a free agent.

        Are some guys playing in imaginary independent leagues? And why don't we have something like that in our world?

          That's what I wondered, as well.

          I thought once a guy sat on the FA market for a years time, they always retired.

          I wonder what kept this guy from being dropped off the list for 11 straight years?

            Maybe it's guys who make it to the BLB then sit out a year that auto retire? Maybe minor league FA's just wait around and retire based on some other criteria?
