The lineup
C- Hctor Gonzlez. Had an off year, but I suspect a bit of a rebound in 93.(Or else I trade him)
1B- Carmem Chamissa. Nuf said. Still wish people stopped beaming him.
2B- Raul Zamora. 92 offseason pick up stablized the front of the lineup. Raul is a great fit here.
3B- 'Slider'. CONTRACT year so expect him to kick ass and cost me alot of money.
SS- Toby/ Jimmy Joy. Could be Jimmy's last season and Toby just does what is asked. Righty/ Left or who's hot will determine playing time.
LF- Darryl Calhoun/ Sekien Suitani. Sort of like the SS role, but expecting both of these 2 combined to produce Opio like numbers. See some future potiental in Calhoun.
CF- Samuel Helmrich. Lets see if pussy boy can get thru a season. Will get some more breathers this year. His presence in the lineup was missed during the playoffs. Still very young and waiting for Sammy to explode anytime now.
RF- Murdoch Turcotte. Won the job in 92 fulltime. Held his own the leadoff spot. Seems to be getting better every season.
DH- Artie Latham. He's lazy and loves to hit. There are better DH's out there, but Artie has been extremely consistent.
The rest- OF/C Jeremiah Alexander & 1B/2B/OF Jerry Robbins. Injury fillins, but expect both to add some pop off the bench. Jeremiah is more of a project. My scout loves him!
Overall- We wont run much. Just get on base and wait for the big boys to drive u in. How much will Opio be missed? Why does my manager love Toby so much? Its still a very tough lineup to pitch against especially versus a lefty heavy staff. Should be top 3 in just about all DL statistical categories again this year (except steals)
