I'd like to know who let's the CPU run their minors. A lot of the fun I get from this game is from dealing with the minors in my organization. I wouldn't say I put a lot of time and thought into them, but it's usually the first place I stop after downloading the new file.

Especially when you WANT a player to play in one position.(Starting pitcher, 2B, ect)

Once in awhile I might ask manager, but I usually adjust after. Now the daily lineup I give 2 shits about once I set the depth chart.(I dont even allow that at the majors level)

              Frickin Don Stevens

Guy dominated the minors. I don't know what happened to him.

Just read through this whole thread... couple of things:

                  1) I could have swore Don Stevens was the #1 prospect for a while
                  2) Raul Zamora was the most frustrating player I've ever had... but his first few months in the show were electric. I think he hit safely in something like his first 22 games and then 31 of his first 32 games... and just plain dominated through the beginning of September, and then totally fell off the map the last few weeks. It was a sign of things to come. Of course, now he's tearing shit up in Pawtucket at 4 million a year.
                  3) Riverman was a fantastic owner (of Davenport... and Clay) and I'd love to see him back at some point. He was Brad before Brad, always posting and coming up with stats no one else ever thought about.

Riverman was a great owner. He loved to stir the pot, especially Clay's, but who doesn't.

I've had my share of busts over the year. One season I had four 1st round picks and we probably got stuck with the worst draft class in the history of this league. 2 never made it out of the minors. Hector Lopez had a little success in the BLB for a couple seasons, but is now stuck in the minors, and the other was Kip Carr. I think he's a bench player for Los Lunas now.

I miss the Riverman - Clay connection.

Wait, by old clown do you mean the newest clown or myself? I've always been referred to as Fuckin' Clown. This is strange.
