Aww, my new favorite time of the offseason: the release of the Shavermetrics rankings. At the end of each season you should do a recap of the previous predictions.

So, your playoff predictions are just your predictions right? Because otherwise it would seem that you would win over Washington.

Thought about it, but the problem is the whole equation kind of goes out the window once the injuries and trades start happening. I'm sure people will bring them up all year as things go down.

Believe me... my PERSONAL opinions different greatly from the Shavermetrics, but I just post what the numbers say.

For example, my PERSONAL feeling is that both Batavia and Wilmington are closer to a Playoff spot than the numbers might show. Conversely, I also think California potentially misses the playoffs. More of a blind gut feeling than anything. I'll put some of these TYPES of things in the Bold Predictions thread, because they're more just me.

Well, yes and no... I don't go straight by the numbers because Shavermetrics also factors in playoff upsets which almost always happen.

              Love Shavermetrics.

However, I think California would take Maine this time.

My owner expects us to play .500 ball so that's right in line with what Shavermetrics is predicting as well. I *think* we can do that, but not sure the fans will be too pleased if that's all we are able to accomplish.

My owner expects me to win the Championship this year. He's most likely in for some disappointment.

Slow playing your hand? No "I wouldn't want to play me" type statements?

                          Stay classy Linty.

You'll at least privately feel sorry for teams that have to play you though, right?

I never think my team is any good. I'm always pleasantly surprised to see us win games.

I can just nitpick my team to death and find faults as to why every team could easily beat us on any given night.
