    • A nice little bell curve. Looks like 29 is the middle of the productivity career.

Yeah, thats pretty cool. It would be nice to see the curve for other stats. I would be interested to see which stats stay more consistent as players age.

I did think about bolding his name to draw special attention to him.

I thought it was also interesting that I have 2 guys on my active roster on that list.

              • Igor Goderie was a victim of being (a) in the DL with those bastages from Maine and (b) being the Tom Glavine to the Maddux (Guardamagni) and Smoltz (Gugz). Maybe he was Smoltz. Anyway, you get the point.

Absolutely. This season he seems to have gotten his second (third?) wind as a long reliever. Might have earned himself one more go-round as a fifth starter.

Not only close to the bottom but the guy who leads your franchise should have been shown the door three years ago.

Danny Nelson got locked down by the previous administration.... in 10 years of owning the team, no one has even made an offer to me for him. I lowered my expectations and his role and he's performed. He holds almost every team record for the Colonials, but will likely lose nearly all of them someday to guys he's playing with right now (Poling, O'Hegarty, etc.)... but... he's a Colonial.

My making fun of California is not about them being inferior... it's more of our ever present comparison as two of the Owners handed really lousy franchises with really bad previous owners. I don't hate on California... I think 9 out 10 moves that he's made in the last 5 years have been good ones.

Also, just a quick look shows an obvious pattern.

The winning teams sit up top. If you're Denver (and your amazing one playoff appearance - none under my supervision...) then it's a guy like Zamarida who is a good player that started young and has remained consistent.

Your franchise (and California's) were stuck with mediocrity and that forced a lot of turnover. This is another list that will be nice to look at 20 years from now.
