I have no idea how many places but it has to be Gil O'Moore.

Without looking, what is the record for career home runs by a pitcher?

I'm going to guess 5, but I can't imagine who it would be.

I did see 'Checkmate' went yard last SIM though.

Surprisingly the answer is only 2.

Wilkerson is now tied for the all time lead!

                    • That old Windy City staff seems like it should be in there. I don't know if they hit a lot of longballs, but I know they use to drive in a bunch of runs. Always seemed to be against me.

                      • Theodore and McEvoy are 1-2 all time in pitcher RBI's... so your observation seems spot on.

Sadly, it's one thing to note when you get killed by great pitching... but it stands out when the same guys are out pitching and out hitting you. The IL is damn lucky the Windy City didn't have Baltimore's budget. Their staff was nasty.

                          • Who's the youngest player to ever pick up a hit in a BLB game? And how old was he?

Hint: He still plays, but hasn't been in the pros since his cup of coffee.

                              • Danny Nelson got hits at 19, so I'm sure many others have. It's gotta be someone from that 16 year olds draft that Maeda and Branch came out of.
