If I were MOR/WIL and looking at the Stout standings after almost 1/3 of the season, I'd be looking to make a trade or two to change fortunes.

    • I didn't realize Brad and I had suffered the same exact pain except his team is in much better position to break that drought than mine.

Unless the Pilsner keeps blowing chunks.

What sucks is my team was a playoff game away from ending that drought a couple seasons ago.

Well, if I were looking for advice on knocking out VIR and DC, I'd certainly consult Baltimore.

          • If you measure your success strictly on Regular Season wins... you're spot on....

Oh... wait.... spot won in the playoffs.

I didn't say I could tell them how to WIN in the playoffs. Just make it there.

Plus with the beast finally breathing it's final breath, it is finally anyone's championship to win in the IL.

                        • Chuck Lindsey made his first All-Star Game this year, at age 36.

Aside from the inaugural draft guys, have we had a first-time All-Star this old before?

                              • Parangoa and The "Magician" Joe Ponte, should be in the Hall. I know I'm pushing it with Nathan but I think his "type" of pitching keeps him out even though he was damn good for a long time. There is something to be said about a great pitch to contact pitchers like him.

But aside from my personal agenda to get Nathan in, there is no doubt to me that Ponte got hosed.
