                • We believe that the return of Dane Browning in a month will be the mid-season acquisition Denver needs to get its offense back on top.

The franchise leader in hits for a season is extremely vital to the organization.

                        • Why?

I burned through a ton of players in the early 80's.

I think people forget how truly terrible California was when I first took it over.

Despite being in the playoffs two of the last three years... and winning a Brewmasters Championship in one of those years... entering the 1989 season, California still held the lowest winning percentage in league history at .411.

The reason most don't know that is because we didn't advertise just how bad our team was. While Clay went on and on about how terrible Virginia was... the reality of the situation was that California was just a bit worse.

                          • I was expecting Washington to have had the most...I was remembering the good ole days when Pat would keep enough guys in his DFA to field a team.
