  • DUCK TALES A WOO WOO!

Anyone else watch the show religiously as a child? I know I did!

Also had the NES video game and I think a lunchbox or two.

Duck Tales and Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers were probably my two favorite cartoons growing up.

    • Probably the best thing to come out of the '80s was the cartoons.

Linty you nailed it. Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, GI Joes and Ninja Turtles.

      • Anyone remember Shirt Tales?? Linty and Pat may be too young for that one.

                  • Call me crazy but I think Eddie O'Fallon's career has been underrated as well. I had him on the trade block a bunch of times and he didn't get much interest. Also didn't get much interest in FA the first time he was eligible. He was overshadowed by Keppel and Gremades in the DL. I probably should have bitched about it more when he was a Guide.

                    • He destroyed his legacy by going to the Bats. It's a career killer.

I think this is a great league as far as activity goes, but my experience has been unless you put a huge name on the trade block, you don't get a lot of response.

O'Fallon quietly put up good numbers...but you're right, he didn't get the fanfare that Gremades or Keppel got.

                            • I forgot, Virginia can't relate to anything winning or relevant.

Hell of a player though Andrew, I agree. 1,000 runs. 1,000 RBI. Almost 200 HR. Career .300 hitter.

That trade turned out pretty well for me. I got O'Fallon for 1.5 seasons and he hit great (when not hurt) in the title winning season. Sierra is now a Free-Agent and I see that pitching prospect got hurt. I then flipped O'Fallon for Jose Sanchez, who is hopefully great for me in the 2nd half of this season.

Yeah I think the pitching prospect is a flameout with this injury. Still happy with the deal for me though. Sierra was an OK contributor for 2 seasons and I didn't have the money to pay O'Fallon anyways.
