I think this means Corrigan is pretty good, but not sure yet. We still need to wait and see where his career goes.

      • Also, Archibaldo Garcia made only 14 starts in '86, accumulated only 7 QS and still managed to throw 3 shutouts.

Yeah, I hate that dude. No clue why he's viewed as extremely popular. I feel like I need to keep him around but his stats don't match with what his ratings say he should produce. Maybe he needs a change of scenery.

4.7+ BB/9 innings is kind of hard to consistently overcome for anyone.

            • I don't get popularity sometimes. Irigaray was once Popular - one of the reasons I resigned him a few years ago. Now, he's an Unknown and he pitches better. Weird.

No diggity. I have no problem understanding why he sucks. I just don't understand why he hasn't died in a traffic accident yet.

Well, he does have a 6 in intelligence, so he probably doesn't play in the freeway too much.

                          • Individually, it's nice to be on this list. As a group, not so good.

The higher the percentage, the less men were on base, which means your boys weren't helping Mr. Productive.

                              • Not the stat of the day, but I'm going over some of my players while I'm waiting to leave work and noticed an interesting nugget.

The player formerly known as shit had a perfect 1.000 OBP when ahead in the count 3-0, tallying 39 walks.

                                The more you know.
