                  • Nice to see the Snappers are right there at the top and have yet to win a championship. Of the top 5 teams, only 2 haven't won a championship...Dallas & Denver.

                        I traded for the 39-year-old Lanbin mid-season 1985. In 86 games he hit .274, 15 HR, 56 RBI, 52 R, .876 OPS. Dude still had something left in the tank.

                              He's really a remarkable player- he was a beast in 1987. He really was a key part of bringing my team into respectability. His signing really gave me time to try to develop some younger guys. However, I think he's finally starting to slow down. I've kept him at DH for a couple of months to keep him healthy too.

                              It'd be nice if he can retire on a winning note.
