My theory would be that even if a better team has more save situations - say, 80 to 60 - 80 means your guy is going to be out there every other night, with a lot of back to back to back streaks in there. 60 is every three nights. So your main guy would be fresher for a higher percentage of the bad teams opportunities. But that's probably a stupid theory.

That's exactly what I meant to say. Thanks Jistic.Charlotte Knights - OSFL

I don't know. What's the difference between the closer and that middle reliever on your team that has 80 appearances?
Why would the closer not be used in all save opportunities when the middle reliever is being used in 80 games where some times the game is already won or lost?Denver Bulls

You've been good enough to avoid the top picks in the draft, but bad enough to not play for a division championship.
What a weird position to be in. I think those teams are the hardest to rebuild. At least you keep trying.Denver Bulls

Insult taken.
Just kidding. I agree 100%. The problem is, my core right now is still a bunch of guys you'd want to rebuild around. Carbajal, Zamora, Cannell... my lineup is relatively young outside of Cuevas (and I suppose rancourt). My pitching is terrible. So... i can't do much to get really bad. It's not like I can cut bait on a lot of aging stars. Not that I would want to though, but... anyways. Hope that made sense.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
