  • Stat of the day

Not sure about everyone else but I find the stat of the day pretty interesting. Thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can post it and then discuss. Here's today's:

    Most All-Stars Drafted By Franchise

I'd be interested to see a sub-set of that statistic with the Number for each franchise that made the all-star team for said franchise.

Like... from my team... O'Hegarty would count for Los Lunas... Poling would count for Maine... etc. I wonder who drafted the most players who represented that team in the ASG. Without looking at stats... my GUESS... would be Windy City.

I would assume it does not. It appears that other parts of the utilities treat that inaugral draft differently than the other in-season drafts. I have no facts to back this up.

It has to. Trust me. I haven't drafted 10 All-Stars in the Amateur Draft.

It either counts the inaugural draft or counts each all-star appearance. Not sure which.

I think it has to. Most of my all stars are inaugural. Can't take credit for those guys.

I only counted one, not including the inaugural.

I'm going to go ahead and cave on this one and say you guys are probably right that it does include the inaugural guys.

Using the draft utility it definitely does the following:

                              A. Counts the Inaugural Draft
                              B. Adds total appearances for a player
                              C. Only includes times while playing for your organization

                              Ones I'm responsible for:
                              1. Dane Browning (1)
                              2. Kifle Al-Sadat (1)

                              The Inaugural Draft:

                              1. Tommy Lang (2)
                              2. Pedro Zamarida (4)
                              3. Joe Soto (1) - made it another time with Baltimore. This was my confirmation on (C).
                              4. Joe Arredondo (1)
                              5. Jerry Dean (4)
                              Denver Bulls
