Can't believe Grounds is your Sr Member now... or almost 30.

I guess Cristofor Villazon is actually my longest tenured...1980.

Grounds made his BLB debut in 1981.

That is a lot of injury prone players to rely on. You also have a staff that is seeing a huge turnover in talent.

Overall, your roster is loaded. There is no doubt that pound-for-pound, the Washington Bats are one of the best teams in the league. But as you mentioned in this preview, the question is health.

It'll be an interesting race with a loaded Virginia club.

I'm always rooting for XA. You know that.

I'll go out on a limb and say I don't see it happening for you this year. Of course I can say this since I will finish in fourth place myself, but I just think the staff is going to let you down. Good luck though.

            I have options.

I think McEvoy, Rodriguez and Winchel are all good enough to be in the rotation. Zazueto and Vest, I'm not so sure. But I get Villazon off the DL in a couple weeks and I have two guys in Triple-A that if they are ready, project to be much better pitchers than Zazueto and Vest. Plus, if I really need to, I can gamble on moving Carlton to the rotation. He wants to pitch there. When I ask my manager and bench coach to set my pitching lineups, they put him #2 behind McEvoy.

As far as XA, I think he is nothing more than AAAA quality.
