  • Yah I missed Saxon. I actually went through the list posted in this thread, then went into the Top 100 list and looked at every guy in A to see when he was drafted. If they were in AA ball already, I would have missed them.

    • Syracus has 8 guys in the top 100 right now, including 2 in the top 7. Thank God since we blow up in the show.

      • Tino Suarez snuck onto the list at #99 and has been tearing it up in AA. Doesn't look like such a bad pick now bitches!

The test is a lot easier when you have the Teacher's Edition.

Incidently, I gave my girlfriend in college a Tino Suarez once... she was not pleased.

          • So i moved my 15th rounder third baseman Raul Salas from A to AAA due to having no room at single A and needing a warm body in AAA due to injuries. So far he's had 1 game with no at bats and a walk.

He's now had two talent increases and is now the 63rd best prospect according to Baseball America. What a weird world the BLB is.

            • I'm surprised I have anyone, let alone 2, players in the top 100. Looks like taking the best MR in the draft wasn't such a bad idea. He wanted to be converted into a starter and is now #11 in the BLB.

                2. RF Tynan Cutter - AA
                3. LF Justin Chewning - AAA
                4. 3B Hector Gonzalez - AA

Clarence Nicholson could have started for us, but he's a bum now.

#85-Joe Saxton(CF), hit for the cycle in his first professional start
                      #93-Don Thompson(C)
                      #95-Curt Boyd(SS), went 5/13 with 3 doubles last week.

BTW, how does the game generate this list? Performance based? Actual vs. Potential rating?

                            • Syracuse is impressive, but my concern is that it's all fluff and no meat. It's loaded with OFers and 1B/C's which are a dime a dozen. I'd rather have less prospects in areas like SP and middle IF...

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to have a log jam at 3B on my team... in fact.... I expect to move a Top 40 talent this off-season when I put Maeda and Branch on the block to move one of them for a Top tier SP prospect (or established star).

                              HOWEVA!!!!

Most importantly... I'm counting no chickens (prospects) before they're hatched (conversion to OOTP9).

                              • I don't see how converting to OOTP9 will hurt the kids... infact, I think it will help them as less and less take massive and random development hits.
