  • Is there any spot in the HTML or the league file that gives off history for the BA lists?

I realize I can always go back and look at a particular player's profile but I'm interested in seeing how Davenport looked in the Riverman days. I tore apart most of our system with the hope of making a run at a title in '89 but we failed miserably.

Even though it has hurt us now, it was easy at the time. I think you have a less of an attachment with players you never drafted.

    • Bump.

Down to 9 top 100 prospects, but up to 228 points. 2 in the top 5, 3 of the top 12 and 8 in the top 45.

I hope this isn't just fools gold.

I really liked Hamilton in that 1990 draft. Looks like we jumped up to 7th on the strength of those OFs and my first 2 picks last draft. I wish some of my IF prospects from my first 2 drafts had progressed better.

        • Happy to see SS Tony Cardenas make his debut on the list all the way up at #75. He won a Glove Wizard (DUI?) at 2B in A ball last year. We've been waiting for his bat to come around and it seems to finally be doing so.

              • I think its interesting to note that Baltimore's sole Top Prospect is #30, Pirro Hildalgo (C) from Arizona State. He was a 10th round pick by Carolina in 1991 and has hit his way into the AAA ranks and may be ready to play in the Show next year.

Thank God for Carolina leaving the trash can open.

                • I don't get this game's infatuation with catchers. They're always overrated when it comes to the Top Players and Top Prospects list.

My guess is because its a "unique" skill.

                    • My released players are just a goldmine for talent. I swear if I cut someone they're practically a lock top 100 player.

It'd be cool if some guys got a potential bump after they were cut... as in, like a kick in the ass, type bump because they don't want to see their careers end.<o:p></o:p>
                        <o:p></o:p>
Obviously that'd be nearly impossible to code/implement it into the game... but it'd be neat to see.<o:p></o:p>

                          97. SP Robby Pearce, Indianapolis

251 points for the Tobs now. I'm going to call that an unofficial record. 4 of the top 8 prospects are in my system, if this is to be believed.
