I did get native Californian, Victor Escamilla at #16, but that's it for us. I'm thinking he progresses very quickly, like Loren Wallace, and makes a significant impact to our team around the time Campo and Sato leave Baltimore.

"I'm pleased with my draft, but I will probably NEVER regret not selecting 1B Arapeta Huanani. My scout had him as #1 in potential and #1 on the draft list, but I didn't pass on him, because I'm an awesome owner. In fact, I traded out of the 1st round and got an additional 2nd next season and still got him. If he's as good as my scout thought he should have gone top 5-10. Instead, he goes to the 2nd round to Virginia, and is the 28th best prospect in the BLB. I love that team."The Great One!

Doug Coates looks to be a solid prospect, but having him throw 175 pitches in his second minor league outing...?
Morgantown needs to show more attention to their minors. Coates was placed on a AA roster that needs some help, or the kid may never sniff AAA or the big league.

I don't know how that's even possible.
He has enough pitchers on the staff that the CPU should have taken him out when it got ugly.
Looks more like a weird AI move than anything Morgantown did wrong.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

He had one RP, Pancho Sanchez, who hadn't pitched for days ignored while the AI left Coats out there.

If it's a bug, I'd put him on a pitch count fast.Originally posted by Sully View PostWasn't injured either. That's odd.Originally posted by Skerik View Post8 IP, 17 H, 17 R, 15 ER, 9 BB, 2 K, 175 pitches.
