New list says that Luca Marciano (#56) is a top of the line starter now. He was drafted as a can't miss closer and suddenly has had a movement increase that has made my Scouting Director suggests that he become a starter despite a 4 in endurance. So, it's going to be tested.
According to the prospect list: Gray #4, Marciano #56 and Murillo #66 could be a part of a nice pitching future in Denver. Murillo is the oldest at 22 and likely getting a promotion to AAA mid-season. Marciano is only 20 and seeing his first full season of AA this year. Gray is 18 and will probably be in A ball for another season unless Reed decides he deserves a promotion to AA late in the summer.
With the pitching I've thrown out there, I'm sorry if I sound excited. I have no choice but to be. Now I'm just hoping Denny Erwood isn't forever messed up with this torn labrum.
edit: Player profiles say the numbers above, but the prospect list says Gray is #9 and Marciano is #19?Last edited by Carlos; 06-15-2009, 11:49 AM.Denver Bulls

Pretty happy with my current crop of prospects
2. Conan Wilkerson (BLB)
26. Jarred Good (AA)
47. Jared Austin (AA)
57. Curt Race (A)
87. Rod Phillips (AA)
89. Chip Snow (A) 32/0 K/BB rate so far this year. Might be ready to make the jump to AA. I'm very interested in this guy as he's come out of no where and now has the ratings potential to be a back end of the rotation type guy.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

Vern Branch has more BLB ABs than Murdock does and he is still a prospect. Maybe it goes by games but it seems more likely that Murdock just took one of those infamous OOTP ratings hits. Now that they don't send messages when that happens, you won't find out about it until the new scouting report comes out next month.
