A name like that has to pitch in Denver.

Do the league some good and make it happen. We'll do it for a player to be named later who will happen to be named Mahoney.

    You can wait.

    • Well HrfdW Castro does play for Hartford, so there is precedent.

      • I'm still confused as to how a name like that ends up in the name database.

        It's as bad as rubisc.

        • Way back when, understand it was the 70's, certain people had their board name in the game instead of a real name, so the game would throw those in the draft pool. Nomar Muela's original name was Wessinmous Muela.

          • The best was Giggas Gotay.

            Just a shame . . .

And he was filthy. He was destined to be a dominating reliever til he had a CEI. I changed his name to Robbie Gotay shortly before the injury.

                • Washington currently sitting at #3.

                  -C Mike Murdock (4th)
                  -LF Miguel Angel Padilla (5th)
                  -SS Pete Summers (39th)
                  -2B Robert Abbott (67th)

Abbott, my 1st round pick this year, continues to climb the ranks. I think he debuted in the late 80s early 90s for top 100. With Summers and Padilla at the bigs, and Murdock at Triple-A, starting to feel like my farm isn't very deep.

                    All moved up, now 3rd, 4th, 36th and 66th.

Someone in the top three drop out?

                      • Jumped to the #2 system. Had a few guys take some jumps. And Tynan Cutter is flat out on FIRE in AAA.

Also Carillo has been a beast since July. He's been a better pitcher than Theodore.

                        • Did a bunch of guys lose eligibility? I jumped up to #11 and had a few guys debut on the list that haven't been there before. (Negron and Montes)

                            • We're still way down the list at #16, though Shawn Gates continues to slowly climb the rankings with him now checking in at 26th. He pitched very well at AA this year, 12-6 with a 2.17 ERA. I've got no plans to rush him to the majors though I am encouraged with his play in his career so far.

                              • Chad Stafford (no relation to the 15-million dollar man) had a great season in A ball. He went 13-4, with 2.04 ERA and 4 shutouts. Very nice to see.
