          • ST - First attempt. And, as I said before, I don't expect him to be great his first year.

I'm just saying you might want to yank the kid before he gets his skull caved in by all the beatings he is taking.

              Pun is semi-intentional.

              • It's spring training. He'll make two more appearnces and we'll see how they go.

I screwed up. I wanted to go 6-man in ST, loaded my pitching accordingly, but never switched to 6-man. I might have saved Oyos from injury with that one click.

Oh well... Magness is staying up with the Oyos injury.

Poling, on the other hand (another Top 100) is likely going back to AAA with the signing of "Old Man" Tar. Poling could be back up later, but no use sitting him on the bench when he can get ABs in Detroit.

                • I did the 6 man rotation the first half of this ST. Seemed to work out pretty well. Although I have no clear 5th starter right now.

But hopefully with no injuires, 1-4 is set and ready to go for the season.

                  • I liked what I saw from Makungu this sim, and Joe Hernandez, who was FA acquisition. I was going to send Makungu back down, but I'm going to let him fight for a spot now.

                    • Washington is back in the top 5!

After moving LF Miguel Angel Padilla from AA to AAA, he moved from #25 to #13.

                      • Nazaire moved up about 15 spots, leaving me with:

                        Haydon (12th)
                        Nazaire (37th)
                        Brown (41st)
                        Rodriguez (88th)
                        Clapp (96th)

                        If only they could pitch...

                        • Graham dropped from 12 to 22 past sim.

In other news Vizcarra who I moved up from AAA to the BLB went from out of the top 100 to 70.

Picked up 2 holds as well in his first week in the bigs... not bad.

                          • I don't understand why a GMs decision to move a guy from the minors to the BLB makes him a better prospect. I could understand it if the reverse happened and prospects moved to the BLB were removed from the top 100 since they are now big leaguers not prospects.

                            • You're right that it SHOULDN'T work like that... but the bottomline in OOTP is that guys take a ratings boost (when applicable) when making the move.

He's got 5 endurance as well... I bet if I switch him to being listed as SP instead of MR... he'll take another huge jump in the games eyes... just by switching the position he's listed as... won't even have to put him in the rotation.
