The 2062 Daily Keg - Season Predictions
Onto the year 2062 and season eighty-four of Brewers League Baseball. Last season we saw the Pawtucket Patriots capture their third Brewmasters since 2051, and sixth of their GM's storied career. In what many saw as an unprecedented run (the DK didn't even pick Pawtucket to make the playoffs), the Patriots swept both the Guides and Bulldogs in the LCS and Brewmasters respectively. Sometimes it's just your year. Looking back at last years predictions the DK got eight out of twelve playoff teams correct (Indy, SDR, Windy City, and Denver let us down!) while our Brewmaster team picks of Montreal and New York both got bounced in the Divisional Series. In the award winners section we went three and a half for six, as Teddy Birch won the Stout Slugger, while Alex Cain and Isaac Murphy both took home the New Brew. Our half point was Charlie Spence, who won the Pale Ale, but took it home playing for the California Kodiaks. Enough of the old though, onto the new.
