It was a successful week for many a team as LAD, Pittsburgh, California, Seattle and Syracuse all went 5-2 on the week. The big week propelled the Dino's playoff odds up to 84% while the Millers now check in at 86%. Seattle and California are both at 100% as they continue to battle for the Bock crown, while Syracuse is currently in the five spot in the Domestic wildcard race but sadly 16 games back. A little too late for a team that many projected to win 90+ games. Some years...well...just aren't your year.

Performance of the Week
P Jason 'Cracker' Davidson - The 7th overall pick of the 2034 draft has never quite lived up to that billing. Scouts and coaches love him, but his lifetime record of 96-90 with a 4.13 ERA is as telling as that he made his first ever All-Star appearance this year. On September 13th though he showed what he is capable of when he went 8.2 innings against Denver and allowed one hit while striking out 12. Why Kyle Eckrote came in to throw four pitches to end the 5-0 Dinos victory we're not sure, but Davidson is now 13-9 with a 3.15 ERA this year.
Prospect of the Week
P Braden Jordan - We covered Jordan last year after a great season in the Rookie League, but he's now the 67th overall prospect after another super season in A ball. In 24 starts he's 9-5 with a 2.93 ERA and an ERA+ of 127. The former 6th round pick by the Voodoo throws three pitches, hits 97 on the gun, and can strikeout anyone. Just what New Orleans needs, another stud pitcher.

Five Things We Think We Think
1. Another congrats this week to Marco Taylor who hit his 400th career home run on September 13th against Windy City. Facing Logan Totten in the 5th, who had just given up a solo shot to pitcher Bradley Beehn, Taylor took the 1-2 pitch into the right field seats for the historic homer. Drafted 3rd overall in 2031 by Batavia he's a 6x All-Star and helped lead Batavia to the 2040 Brewmasters Cup title. Since then he's played for Santo Domingo, Pittsburgh, LAD, and now Seattle. At 32 years old he has a legit chance to reach 500 and end up top ten all-time. We'll be cheering for him.
2. The bad blood between Phoenix and California continues as an ugly bench clearing brawl broke out during their September 13th game. In the first inning 3x Pale Ale winner Derek Bell gave up home runs on consecutive pitches to Chaz Welliver and Harold Delgado, and then beaned Jakob Lopez. Lopez didn't take kindly and after slowly walking to first suddenly turned and charged the mound. In a fight that would have made rock 'em, sock 'em robots proud both parties landing multiple shots before being mobbed over by teammates. The office of the commissioner later gave Bell six games off and Lopez five. Not a good look for the best pitcher in the IL who has been to five straight all-star games.
3. Colby 'Mirror' Hullinger cracked four home runs last week and now has 42 on the season to go with his 47 stolen bases. For the second time in league history the BLB has a member of the 40/40 club! Ryan Hubbard did it in 2042 for Wilmington and now 'Mirror' makes a list of two. What's really scary is that Hullinger is on pace for 47 home runs and 52 stolen bases. If he stays hot could he reach the unthinkable 50/50 club?
4. The hottest batter as of late, Carolina's second basemen Zeus Alder. In the last 15 games he's hitting .315 with 7 HR's and 18 RBI's. The hottest pitcher as of late, Batavia's Skylar Buckaloo. In his last four starts he's 3-1 with a 2.05 ERA. Sometimes it's all in a name baby.
5. Dallas and Pittsburgh have a magic number of one in order to make all the Domestic playoff teams final. In the Import it's almost settled but the Bulldogs are still holding on hope as their playoff odds are sitting at 1%. They trail Los Angeles by six games and Carolina by seven games but time is of the essence. Baltimore does play the Tobs three more times but their season series against the Dinos is over. Can they pull off the miracle comeback?
