Hall of Fame voting is upon us, and there is a severe injustice about to take place in the annals for the BLB Hall of Fame. Former DVS/KC/PAW shortstop Erik Jackson may not be getting the call to join the BLB's elite of the elite. Erik Jackson was the game's most consistent offensive and defensive shortstop for his first ten years, never achieving less than 4.0 WAR and consistently leading his team offensively and defensively at the game's most difficult position.
All time, Jackson is 10th all time in WAR at 69.1. Everyone ahead of him, except two cheaters, and the SS right behind him are in the Hall of Fame... This is no accident, as Jackson was consistently great for a long, long time!
Erik Jackson is one of only FIVE shortstops to EVER hit 300 home runs. The BLB has long had great power hitters, but only a select few have done so while playing short stop.
And if you like counting stats, Jackson has over 2 000 GP, over 2 200 Hits, over 300 Home Runs, over 1 000 Runs, and over 1 000 RBI.
Jackson also was a plus defender for his entire career at SS (+52.7 UZR) and at 3B (+73.6).
This is a last ditch effort, to get a player elected, that never played for the Kodiaks (no personal bias), that is hugely deserving of joining the greats of the game!
Also, remember, that can still vote, and you can still alter your vote, if this swayed you in any way.
Pleas click on the lick below to finally get Jackson to where he rightfully belongs.
