    Two greats. Or three.

With all the years since, it's hard to see anyone today being as legendary as some of the older guys. I guess it always works out that way.

It's hard to tell how much the different OOTP versions and historical settings we used matter.

Guys weren't faster in the late 70s and early 80s than they are now, for example. But it was a different style of play and they stole a lot more bags than anyone steals today.

We never had a .400 avg hitter in the BLB and the record in this stat dates back to 1987.

Toronto shortstop T.J. Choate won the Defensive With Integrity Award at the position last year.

Despite his award-winning defensive play, he finished the year with -0.4 WAR.

If there was a BLB amnesty clause, I bet 7 of the top 10 salaries would be removed.

                Something to think about.

                  Let's see.

                  Fajardo: No.
Yahn: Jimmy would have to be here to do it.
                  Stuart: Yes.
                  Garnett: Yes.
Dunham: Yes, but he's expiring anyway.
                  Feliciano: NEVER.
                  Thomas: Probably.
                  Bafford: No idea.
Vega: Yes, but he's expiring, too.
                  Zhang: No.

*The top eight players in SB for 2019 all played in the DL.

*The BLB leader in intentional walks was Pittsburgh OF Jamie O'Hearn because he's the best player in the league.

*Three players hit into 30 DP this season, two are catchers with "2" on speed, one is Los Alamos IF Geoff Yonke.

That's not fair. I wouldn't consider Yonke to be a highly overrated athlete surrounded by great players.

In an old league I was in I had to play against this guy:

                              Closer up on those stats:

He wasn't hacked into the game either as our commish never got to have the guy on his team. Absolutely destroyed any sense of immersion for me.

The league ended up dying when the files got corrupted and everyone voted to start a new league, but I for one don't miss playing against Brian Burke. 16 strikeouts in a full season. No way. Worst part was during his reign of terror he was on a cheap ass contract. San Diego won a lot of games those years.

Maybe the commish had two accounts.
