Not sure I follow. Seattle has 109 HRs, third highest behind PIT and PAW...and Seattle has no DH.

I think he was saying your team overall would be average in the DL.

I just dislike our bullpen this season. Has choke written all over them.

                At least they're healthy.

Your guys never seem to get hurt.

                It's amazing.

I would hope its due to pitch counts (very strict), very tight slider on yanking them and rotating hitters alot. Never sure this even helps, but my trainer is AWESOME except stamina.

Having nice leads really help. Don't feel as pressed to push them.

2005, you me and Pitt were in a crazy race and I kept pushing them. Down the stretch my team had like 2 starting pitchers and a few key hitters go down. We collapsed. Lesson learned.

                    Just to add to that:

For the past 10's decade we've probably been one or two in run allowed. Completed games were ALWAYS either worst or bottom half. Its why bullpen is just so important on how this team is built. We rely so heavily on the big 3 (setup and closer)

Someday I want to try just pushing durable starters.

                      Maybe.

Your best starters still get a generous workload of 180-200 innings during the regular season and another 20-25 during the playoffs.

And your bats don't get hurt either. Piekarski is 31 years old and his worst injury set him out for three days. Mason missed about six weeks at a time once.

I'm not accusing you of anything -- obviously.

It just looks like you've been very fortunate and maybe you figured out something in player ratings or use to get an extra edge.

nah. im really not that smart. i just rotate and hope for the best. Dave P is an ironman which is nice.

lets face it, everything is going right for us this decade. other decades ive been hit hard. i use to think that of your team last decade (injuries, u were amazing)

                        ebbs and flows.

I'm thankful that the Wildcard round is best of 3, at least I think so. I'd still like to avoid it altogether, but I don't know that my team is good enough to catch Philly.
