  • 2017 Bold Predictions

    As tradition on the day before Opening Day, it's time to make bold predictions. This isn't a time to take the easy route...it's time to be BOLD!

    1. Pittsburgh C Abraham Santana and Los Angeles SS Marco Lona both finish the 2017 season off the Top 20 Players List. Father time remains undefeated. Santana currently #3 on the list, is 36 years old and just setback in his recovery from a quad strain that had him on the shelf for eight weeks. Lona (38), currently #16 on the list, is on the shelf for a month with a knee injury. Both players are future HOFs and rated as the best players at their positions currently.

    2. Kansas City 1B/DH TJ Dunn gets the HR title back from Villarroel by hitting 53 bombs. He spends the first half in Kansas City before being traded to a contender at the deadline.

    3. Morgantown CL R.J. "Basher" Manning has an MVP type season winning his 4th Last Call Award. With their first season in the Domestic League, the Manning lead Mohawks shock the world and win the Lager Division.

    4. The 2017 Brewmaster's winner comes out of the IL...and it's not Death Valley.

    5. Denver doesn't find a trade partner for Antonio Banuelos but does for Hector Feliciano.

    6. The 6th seed in the IL playoffs win sneak in at 81-81.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

      Moore finishes over .300, Monson goes somewhere else and hits 30 HRs just to bother me. Pat Cinelli wins Pale Ale Award.

      Dallas rest his starters the last 2 weeks of the competition...

      Denver makes it to the play offs and Seattle gets the first round bye!
      Miami Sharks (BLB)
      * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

      Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
      * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

          1. Dave Dunham is a leading contender for Pale Ale and Seattle snags a Wild Card spot. However, despite their "rebuild," Death Valley still easily wins the Bock and represents the IL in the Brewmaster's Championship.

          2. Ed Carroll establishes himself as top-quality starter and Washington wins the Stout (please).

          3. In a true underdog story, Pawtucket has the league's best record and cruises to a Brewmasters title.

          4. Toronto loses fewer than 100 games.

                  He's back in AA.

                  With Stoll I don't have room.

                    He's better than Stoll already.

                      He's gonna be a beast. We're gonna try a RF experiment in AA/AAA this season. If not Stoll might be traded even though my scout thinks he's a .270+ cleanup hitter.

                        I missed on 5/6....and could still miss that one.

                        I'm not very good at this.
