Denver's Future
Since the end of the 2016 season, we have traded away several players with strong career accolades. Ian Ledbetter. R.J. Manning. Antonio Banuelos. William Eckstein. Pat Steffen. To name the most important to Denver's hope for success.
Ledbetter and Manning helped us land prospect Damian "Boot" Buck. Antonio Banuelos brought us back Maine pitching prospects Jalen Duell and Ted Adamo. The Eckstein and Steffen trades could deliver a few more depth players after the 2017 draft is complete.
With those moves, Denver has re-strengthened a system that had shown flashes of potential brilliance in the past, but suddenly saw itself drop with players like Daniel Collazo, Bob Perkins, and Ian Coffey fall off the list in favor of hot new draftees.
Now the system, which just a few months ago sat in the bottom half of Minor League Systems in the BLB, has ten prospects in the Top 100 and sits 7th in the league with the following players:
20 3B Matt Healey
26 SP Jalen Duell
47 LF T.J. Scott
62 SS Tom Pelloni
65 SP Dave Gotschall
76 SP Rory Lawrence
79 RP Alex Salazar
89 LF Pat Webb
97 SP Ted Adamo
100 RF Damian Buck
Each name above is expected to help this team in the coming 2-3 seasons, with a few expected to make their BLB debuts in May of 2017.Denver Bulls
