Glory years....Those were some really talented teams.

Finally, Wilmington appears to be post-season bound for the first time since 1989.

Dunn Connects for 3 Homers for Patriots: Three home runs in a game doesn't happen often. When it does it is something special to celebrate. And T.J. Dunn of Pawtucket can celebrate it. He is now a member of the select group of players, who have hit three home runs in a single game. He powered three into the stands today at Pawtucket Park against the Dallas Sharks.

In all he was 4-5 as the Patriots toppled Dallas 8-6, knocking in 5 runs and scoring 3 times.

Dunn told reporters after the game, "It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run. Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today I tried on the last one."

His manager added, "He is blessed with a natural home run swing. He gets the ball up in the air."

T.J. Dunn hit a solo-shot off David Arce in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Reynaldo Jimenez in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Troy Davis in the 10th.

Dunn is presently hitting at a .275 pace with 42 home runs and 102 RBIs. He has played in 148 games and scored 87 times.

                Red-Hot Flores Scorches Tobs:
It seemed that Morgantown catcher Vinny Flores could do no wrong as the Mohawks kayoed the Tobs 11-1 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Carolina pitchers couldn't get him out as Flores seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Mohawks were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Carolina fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Flores in the postgame press interview. Vinny Flores hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.

In his stats this season, Flores has posted a batting average of .279 with 145 hits in 520 at-bats, 9 home runs and 72 RBIs. He has also scored 66 runs, walked 43 times and compiled a .330 OBP.

Harmony Pitches Amigos to Shutout Victory: Amigos pitcher Dave Harmony did his job today, blanking the California Kodiaks at In-N-Out Field. He scattered 4 hits while striking out 3 in the 5-0 shutout.

Up to now Harmony has compiled an ERA of 3.04 with a 10-6 mark over 23 starts. He has 107 strikeouts in 165.2 innings and has held opponents to a .265 batting average.

Indianapolis Fans Go Crazy After Clowns Clinch Domestic League Pilsner Division: The entire city of Indianapolis was alive with the news of the Indianapolis officially clinching a spot in the playoffs. Known through the league for their fervor, the Indianapolis fans took to the streets and the bars to celebrate. Said one inebriated Clowns fan on the street, "Brewers League Baseball should have all of the games during the playoffs here in Indianapolis. Forget tradition. We will show everyone a good time."

                Latest Injury Report on Rivera:
Willie Rivera could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Toronto reliever told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 10 months because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He hasn't played since 09/26/2015 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there."

Rivera has taken the mound for 67 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 5-8 record with a 2.48 ERA. The Toronto reliever has limited opposing batters to a .261 batting average.

BNN Stats: Active Career Batting Leaders:
