      There's 2 guys that come to my mind.

      Jamie Wentworth - .319/.393/.432/.824 -- 2.3 WAR while playing everywhere in the infield this season, and batting in every spot except 4th. He's been really impressive.

      Kayden Walker -- Walker has been stellar at times. on the year he's 14-7 with a 2.99 ERA, and what really impressed me was watching him jump from a 7.0-2.2 K/9 and BB/9 up to a 7.9/1.9. I'm hoping for him to take one more final step next year.

        Just like Mike I'll say two people

        RP Erik 'Spot' Pearsall. Since moving to setup full time has been a rock in our bullpen. 80 games, 1.49ERA. He's meant to shutdown lefties, but honestly he shuts down everybody and basically has been hot all season. He also never wants money.

        OF Shaun Hawthorne. One of those 'one man's trash' guys. He's posted a 2.4 WAR this season and plays unbelievable defense in RF and also allows Haraguchi aka- glass jaw to stay at DH. 2nd half of the season he's been playing a decent amount of CF so Mason can rest since he also tends to get nicked up. Was going to leave him exposed for the expansion draft coming up, but we decided against it.

          As everyone is doing I will bring 2 to the table.

          3B Jerrod Frost --> Traded for a 3rd Round pick from Batavia at the end of 2014, Frost has a reliable glove and a nice bat, during his official sophomore season Jerrod has stepped up to almost lead the Sharks with a .269 / .316 / .374 / .690 / 2.4 WAR line combined with his +6.9 ZR

          RP Daniel Flores
          --> While our bullpen was crumbling like a cookie, Flores stepped up to be the reliable pitcher in Setup situations, his 1.03 WHIP in 82.2 IP and allowing only 0.5 HR/9 managing a respectable 8.4 K/9 and an above average 0.8 WAR had cooked the W for Jimenez to finish it.
          Miami Sharks (BLB)
          * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

          Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
          * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

            Probably Manny Reyes and Tom Padgett.

            Reyes, at 34, played in 90 games and had less than 300 ABs the past 2 seasons at the BLB level. Brought in just prior to Spring Training to bolster a thin OF, he was thrust into a more prominent role when Gil Mullins went down for the year. Not only has he held his own, his .282/.315/.409 slash to go along with his DWI level of play in the OF easily puts him into the discussion of team MVP.

            Padgett was a late 1st round pick so there is no surprise when it comes to potential. He was in the mix for New Brew last season (as were most other Rookie Amigos...) and has proven to be a mainstay behind the plate and in the lineup. We are very happy to have Tom slotted into the battery for many years to come.

                Don't worry.

                I'm sure the real spot will be back just in time for the 2017 draft.

                  I was convinced he was toast.

                  Great find for you.

                  Shit, if I held on to him and he hit for me the way he did for you, I'd be in the playoffs probably!

                    Sorta-rookie starting pitcher Liam Kincaid allowed the fewest home runs of any qualified pitcher in the entire BLB.

                    He oddly allowed two home runs on July 16 against Hartford.

                    Those two would be the only home runs he allowed all season.

                    204 2/3 innings pitched, only two home runs.

                    That's 0.09 HR allowed per 9 innings.

                    For comparison, the next best mark was Gil Brummett's 0.24 home runs per nine.

                    Put another way, Kincaid not only led the league but he was almost three times better than the second-best guy.

                        I don't know where he goes from here.

                        Hard to imagine him duplicating this mark, though I'd expect him to be an expert ground ball thrower going forward.

                        He led the league in walks, but he showed signs of improving his control as the season went on. My scout observed a control improvement at the beginning of August. Kincaid had a cumulative BB/9 mark of 3.9 over the season. But in August, he cut it down to 3.7. In September, 2.9. In his one October start, 2.3.

                        Reason for optimism there.

                        If he can throw more strikes and miss more left-handed bats, he could be more than just a back-end guy.

                        If not, well, he's already a hell of a back-end starter and I'm happy to have him in that role.

                          • According to Statslab, Liam Kincaid had the fifth-best HR/9 in BLB history, the best mark since Hall of Famer Pat Dimmick's 1996 season.

                            Joe Ponte and Broderick Joyce are two of the other pitchers ahead of him. Yeong-suk Kang is the fourth.

                            Good company.
