The LF. One of the smartest baseballl guys I know once told me "Draft hitting and buy pitching". That being said I've taken like 3 pitchers in the first round so I haven't completely listened to him...

That's funny. I've always done the opposite until last season.

Right now, I take the LF. I need some hitting propects more than the pitching. Two drafts ago, I would take the pitcher.

I take the pitcher by a nose. Better intangibles and fewer flaws.

I'd pick the outfielder if he could play centerfield. But it isn't likely that he'll be able to play there consistently. That switch hitter is pretty tempting though.

A 20 year old lefty with those kind of projections? Yes, please.

I would take the hitter as we can have "worst" pitchers performing like very good ones in our stadium

I'll take the pitcher because the intangibles give him a slight edge in my book. I like those guys with high intelligence and great work ethics.

I'm taking the left fielder, but only by a hair.

Now, who the hell are they?!?

Is Ray Davilla the best catcher in BLB history?

He has played eight full seasons so far.

Calling him the greatest ever is premature.

But he climbs the list every year.

                          P.S. One "L" in Davila.

                            Yes.

                            ---

                            Bump.

What three BLB franchises have the most pressure on them to win the Brewmasters and why?

-It doesn't have to be this year.... For 2016 and beyond. MLB example: most people would argue the Chicago Cubs have the most pressure. They are built to win now. Have a roster full of stars. Have one of the best GMs in sports. And they have gone 107 seasons without a Championship. It could be a long suffering franchise like them, or say the Indians (1948). Or a newer franchise (Rangers, Astros, Brewers, Mariners, Padres, etc) that have never won it. Or a very good franchise that has just gone on a short drought (Dodgers, Mets, Tigers, Orioles, etc).

                                Agree on both.

Indy is 0-4 in Cup play and has spent plenty for win now.
