There comes a time in life where change is the best course of action to move forward and change. The BLB is no different from any other walk of life. The 2013 season will mark a monumental change for the league, where the divisions are different from what they've been for the past 30 seasons.

The reviews have been mainly positive, new GM Brian P from Wilmington had this to say about the changes:
"It's exciting. I think it's good for the fans, and good for the City of Wilmington. We've played in a tough division. You know, it's obvious that this franchise has struggled for the better part of two decades but we believe we have a lot of good young talent on this ball club and in our pipelines. With the relocation last season, and the division shake up this coming season, it gives the fans something to get excited about."
Pittsburgh Millers' GM Mike C had mixed emotions about leaving the historic Ale.
"The competitor in me hates the relocation of divisions. I enjoy the competition between Hartford, Maine and Pawtucket. The personal side of me also doesn't like the relocation because I've got a lot of family in New England and it's great to head back up there multiple times per season and see them. But overall I'm excited, excited to create new rivalries with Indy, Syracuse and Toronto. All of these organizations have tremendous leadership and great talent on their rosters, it's going to be a battle every day against these guys."
The standings will look a lot different, but the league could not be in a better place as the 2013 off season kicks off tomorrow.
