I pointed it out because this thread exists to discuss the voting.

Of course it is of interest to me who is leading the Stout Slugger voting in the league I play in—an award for which my team has two very good candidates.

It's not like I trashed the guy.

I said Bafford played terrific baseball and I'm surprised he's receiving so many votes relative to guys who played great baseball over 30% more games. No one, myself included, said anything negative about his play.
Good luck in the playoffs, I can only pray that Bafford his 10 homers against you.

If Ethan Bafford activates 2004 Carlos Beltran Mjölnir Bat Mode, I will tip my cap and bow out gracefully!

Anyone else find it awkward when someone votes for your guys even when you don't?

I figure everyone must look at the Pale Ale voting and think, "Really, Z? A first place vote for Tyler Garner, with the other ballot spots going to Adan Neubauer and Robby Aten? What a homer you are."

Nope. I voted Yahn first. Only one Guide on my ballot.

Didn't cast the Maxence Claveau vote either.

Appreciate the Guide support from the anonymous admirer though.

I'm kinda the same, but my guys usually don't get votes anyway. Mine is when I vote, check the results, and see someone that got a large amount of votes that I didn't vote for. Different criteria and stuff.

How does Jimmy not get more 1st place votes winning the division for the 6th straight years with basically 2 starters, a closer , a short stop and a bunch of over achievers all this with a stripped down farm system??

Not sure it's luck.(maybe just a tiny bit)

                There my rant is done.

I voted for Mike because I feel winning a division with three 90+ win teams ranks more highly as an accomplishment than winning a division with three clubs who won 74 or fewer games.

If we vote based on regular season accomplishments, Los Angeles's season was good but not the most notable.

Mike did a nice job also. Just noticed he was like 6th. Team actually cracks me up. Bunch of thrown together players and he makes it work. It reminds me of the 72' Redskins.(I'm not that old, saw them on NFL network)
