I don't understand all the Stout Slugger votes for Ethan Bafford given abundance of excellent candidates who played in more than Bafford's 116 games.
Bafford played terrific baseball when he took the field for Pittsburgh but I have trouble believing his contributions in his 116 games exceed the performance of other elite hitters over 150-160 contests.
I understand you could make a similar argument against Murillo, but to me there's no comparison between a Triple Crown winner and a hitter who didn't rank among the leaders for any counting stats.
