    2016 Draft Class Selections

    3.18 --> CF Jed Davis, Oregon State (NCAA)

    With the #1 Sharks overall selection of the 2016 draft class, Dallas has the pleasure to announce Jed Davis will join the Sharks organisation. A glove first player who fits our phylosophy of Loyalty and Work Ethic, along with High leadership skills. Projected as a 5/5/4/5/5 Right handed bat with a 7/6/6 Defensive ratings and a 7 as CF already, Davis is expected to go fast through the system, to be ready in a couple of years for the back-up spot for Herrera. His stealing ability combined with his Speed and his base-running will bring speed in the lead-off spot and to the back-end of the Sharks organisation.

    Fielding --> 839.1 IPs, 2 Errors, +5.8 ZR during his 2 years in Oregon.
    Batting Average --> .304 / .433 / .528 / .961 / OPS+ 133 / WAR 4.5.
    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

      Very happy to trade Peller and the domino´s pieces that it came before.

      Now we have space in the Roster for Barber, he´s a very versatile almost 26 years old OF who can play all positions, excelling on the corners. The last 2 years he has been playing lights out in AAA with excellent fielding and batting average. He has collect a 3.4 WAR over 121 starts. He won´t win any batting awards in the BLB but I have good expectations for him as a role player and #5 OF behind Salazar, Williams, Herrera and Jones. At least we know he can field properly.

      The last piece of the puzzle is J.D. Pomeroy, 22 Years original from Brewster, yes you readed correctly, Brewsear (MA). He´s promote to AAA after tearing the ball in A and AA, he´s the complete batter, he can hit for average, extra bases and power.
      A --> 86 GS .333 / .415 / .489 / .904 / 2.7 WAR, 107 Hs, 20 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 8 HRs
      AA -> 132 GS .285 / .362 / .418 / .780 / 1.4 WAR, 146 Hs, 25 2Bs, 5 3Bs and 11 Hrs.
      I expect big things from him with a scout projection of 5/5/4/5/7, he might get into the majors thanks to his big bat combined with at least an average D#. We will work him in all the spots of the OF and see how it goes, at least I expect a good DH replacement if an injury affects Monson, Graffing or Salazar eventually.

        Catcher, Jaime Johnson, 19 promoted to AA

        Drafted on the 3rd Round of the famous 2014 Draft, from the Xavier Falcons (HS), Johnson skipped College to join the Shark´s farm system after posting a .361 / .452 / .667 / 1.119 OPS as a backup during his last year in HS.

        Since Jaime has played more than 200 games for the Peoria Roosters and got his first all-star game this past week.
        Johnson had this evolution in his numbers.
        2014 --> .242 / .304 / .367 / .671 / 0.6 WAR / -3.1 ZR 19.0 CS%
        2015 --> .245 / .307 / .332 / .638 / 1.1 WAR / +0.9 ZR 32.8 CS%
        2016 --> .302 / .346 / .453 / .799 / 1.7 WAR / +1.2 ZR 36.4 CS%

        Now he will start for the Frisco Beavers from the time being continuing his development and hopefully, finishing as our next Catcher when McKay finishes his actual contract.

          The Dallas Sharks make the last change in the Re-Branding and Re-Building process

          Known as a fanatic of the aquatic life CEO and GM Sharkn20 announced in a press conference, the new look of the minor league affiliates which will suffer a massive relocation and change of uniforms, to accommodatte them to the theme of the Franchise.

          "I am please to announce from now on our drafted and undrafted rookies, will go to Los Callos (FLA) in a warm environment and will represent a little stingy animal, the Jellyfish"

          "For those good enough to step over the 24 years cut they will travel all over the country to stay in San Diego for their next stint, this time they will represent the Dolphins, whom are feeded among others, by jellyfishes"

          "For those players shining above the rest, the last change of city will send them to Miami to play for the Killer Whales, they´re our main BLB feeder as we´re proud to use the players from our farm with few additions through trades or FA to represent the Major League team, the Dallas Sharks"

          "I would like to finish this introduction saying thanks to Matt and Bradz for allowing us to re-brand our franchise from scratch, and of course to BDub, without him, this change wouldn´t be possible, his talent to do logos and uniforms is unvaluable for this league"

          Please commisioners add this uniforms, logos and names to our franchise whenever you feel is time to do it:

          A ---> Los Callos (FLA) Jellyfishes

          AA --> San Diego Dolphins

          AAA -> Miami Killer Whales

                  I do like that the species get more dangerous as you progress up through the leagues.

                    Until you get to the Sharks... I was wondering about who was more dangerous, if the killer whales or the Sharks... And I did decide that Sharks would win a killer whale

                      I'd say sharks are more dangerous to humans, because we come into contact with them more often than killer whales, but a killer whale vs great white shark isn't much of a battle. The killer whales have a tendency to flip the sharks upside down which makes them go somewhat catatonic which is a horrible defense mechanism for a fish.

                      This conversation goes on the list of "things I didn't foresee discussing today".

                        Its a moon jellyfish. I played with the idea of the Man-of-War though.

                            I see, they're more clever then... I also did consider they normally go in groups while the great white lives alone...

                                Haha. Given the color scheme Shark wanted, I thought the moon jellyfish was appropriate. Unique name for sure.
