Pat was drafted out of high school by Philadelphia, Bradz took care of his long term project promoting him slowly towards his system (an excellent job Bradz) and last year he was traded to the Sharks (Snappers) as a part of the Package included to receive star BLB 1B Kemp. After had a fantastic year in Chicago (AAA) Sharkn20 has decide to give the RP his first start in the BLB with 25 Years. "Pat" seems mature now and has an above average fast ball with an Outsanding Changeup, he´s still working in his slider but the guy will feel the BLB enviroment at home against Hartford during the series. Pat did an excellent job during the last year and his hard work during this 7 Years in the minors has to be rewarded right now. Sharkn20 stated when was asked for his 25-man BLB roster that was handed to the media during the day of today.
Pat finished the last year after 16 starts with 7W 6L 2.67 ERA, 115 K, 8HRA and a fantastic WHIP of 1.04
Hopefully he will be one of our main SP in this new Dallas era

CL Reynaldo Jimenez extends his contract with the Sharks
The star closer of the Dallas Sharks will get $48.000.000 to stay in Dallas until 2018. After flirting with the idea to leave the organization that traded for him in 2011. "I wasn´t happy about the re-building mode in which Dallas was going through with the new GM, the new brand and all the stuff". "But you know, I am just in my prime and all that new blood that is coming to the BLB is just exciting, I have to be around and play for Sharkn20 and this guys, I really want my 2nd ring and I think we can do it"
The fans and the locker room are excited about the decision of Jimenez to stay in Dallas for the next 3 years. So far this season Jimenez has played 9.2 Innings with 0 ER and 6 saves, 5 saves short of the 500 mark and during his 3 year ternure we hope he can reach the all-time record in save now only 112 saves away.

RF Jamie Williams wins DL Rookie of the Month (May)
Jamie Williams is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Domestic League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.
In May the Dallas hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .314 average with 32 hits, 3 home runs and 19 RBIs.
This year Williams is hitting .268, produced 25 RBIs and 6 home runs, scored 15 times and gotten on base at a .301 rate.

The last step in the rebuilding process started in Dallas in 2013 is completed.
This morning before the game against Toronto, the fans were asking why the Stadium was covered with a enormous sheet and they couldn´t enter into the installations to watch the game.
Before the Chaos started to grow between the "Sharkies", the lights turned the sheet into blue, then a light waves sound emerged from the inside and Sharkn20 the CEO and GM of the Dallas Sharks came out of the front door with SS Ian Moore, 2B Danny Romero, SP David Arce y CL Reynaldo Jimenez, smiling, looking to the fan base and started his talk:
"Welcome Sharkies, there is a new era in Dallas, and all of you know that already, we promised a revamp of the team, new faces, different gameplay and most important, a Stadium in where you would feel comfortable and amazed when you come to see your team"
Ian Moore and Danny Romero continued the speech announcing that thanks to BDub the new design and theme of the Franchise have become into a reality.
David Arce and Reynaldo Jimenez went to the far side of the Stadium and started to pull the sheet down, discovering the Aquarium around the Stadium, and the new name of the Temple.
"Ladies and Getleman!!! The new "Dallas sea life Aquarium is completed" Please enjoy your new Home!

2015 Dallas Minor League Awards With another year coming to an end is time to highlight and rise the moral of our prospects with 4 trophies in each minor league Level!
Best SP (A) --> Ian Lofink Nowadays rated #97 in the prospects list.
Lofink was selected 9th Overall by the Sharks organization with just 19 years, Ian has grown during the season after a bad end of his career in Arizona State.
Ian threw 71.2 innings collecting 69 Ks against just 69 BBs with an ERA of 3.27 WHIP 1.10 and WAR 2.1
Encouraging numbers for a young prospect who will see his number #8 called for the list in AA next year!
Best Reliever (A) --> Jamie McKeel No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
Jamie had a brillian collegiate debut in Texas but he drown in his last season, with all against him after being undrafted, McKeel finished in the Sharks organisation after clocking 95mphs in his fastballs during the workout. Jamie spent his first year as a Setup man and despite his ERA being a mess 5.22, the guy had a Whip of 1.39 and collected 100 Ks with a WAR nearly 1.
He will probably won´t ever reach the Top level in the minors, but he´s good and will probably stick around here a couple more years see if he worths an AA spot.
Top Slugger (A) --> SS Dave Huffman No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
After being a starter in his last year in College the Sharks decided to give a Christmas present with a minor league contract on the 31st of December of the last year.
Huffman is your prototypical contact hitter with some raw power, 316 AB, 87 H / 17 2B / 4 3B / 9 HR / .275 avg / .440 SLG / 114 OPS+ / 1.8 WAR
Combined with his above average D# he earned a spot in Frisco next year guarding the back of Ian Lofink. Top Fielder (A) --> 1B Jon Colon No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
Not many 1Bs win a fielding award but Colon had excelled this year in that area improving even more from his last season in Stanford.
Selected in the 5th Round for the Sharks organisation in the last Draft, Colon combines a good bat with a good glove just what you want for a 1B. Colon converted 51 SPs was able to get out of his zone to make sharp stops at 2B and RF finishing with a healthy +2.0 and only commited 5 Errors in nearly 500 IPs.
He will have another year to settle himself in the lowest minor league level. Then we will see.
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
Best SP (AA) --> Pat Adams No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list
After stamp his signature in a minor league contract with the Sharks, Pat spent his first year in Peoria then got called up this year after 4 starts in the minor league level due to injuries, but he did manage to keep himself in AA and earn his spot in Frisco with only 21 Years and coming from nowhere.
Originally from Texas, this homegrown player fanned 102 hitters, conceded 47 bases on balls and only allowed 12 HRs in more than 128 IPs. His 2.3 WAR and 1.23 WHIP says a lot about him and his good work habits.
Pat will continue improving and trying to be called up for the AAA, at the moment he´s a solid #3 in Frisco.
Best Reliever (AA) --> Tommy Reschly No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
Tommy was selected with the 196th pick in 2014, after a short stay in Peoria where he played really well he was called up at the beggining of the league 2015 year.
Reschly excelled as a setup and then earned a closer role near the end of 2015, Tommy has a magnificent Fastball and a Curveball, he never gets tired and has a notable D# for a pitcher.
2.63 ERA with 11 saves, 80 Ks and only 0.9 HR/9.
He still a work and there is no rush to decide wether or not he will be called to Chicago eventually.
Top Slugger (AA) --> 1B Sid Baker No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
Undrafted FA, he showed good power in College with 20 HRs, he started the year in Peoria but due the quick grow on Graffing who eventually was called up to Chicago, Sid Baker was the next on the line to be called up, the young product from Philadelphia did use his opportunity to demonstrate his power and contact ability 73H / 8HR with a .344 OPS / 123 OPS+ / 1.2 WAR Sid still a work in progress as he must improve his Eye ability to go to the next level. Top Fielder (AA) --> 2B Dave Larson No selected for the Top-200 Prospects list.
Winner of the Cape Cod League in 2012, 2013 and 2014 was really a surprise anyone offered him a minor league contract at the end of the calendar year in 2014 after went undrafted.
Larson was never known for his bat in college and probably that is one of the main reasons because he never found an opportunity in the professional circuit but man, Sharkn20 loves D# and he has a really nice range, speed and hand-eye coordination.
Dave started straight away with the Weavers and he´s all what we wanted, good avg at the bat and excellent glove. With just 3 Erros in nearly 600 IPs and a +11.2 ZR, Larson is making himself a name in the minor league environment. His ability to draw walks and being able to switch the sides of the plate to have the best match-up against Pitchers can make him to go to the next level sooner than later.
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
AAA - 2B Dave Larson wins batter of the Month and batter of the Week on the same day. Homegrown 22 Years old Dave Larson took off really fast in his debut on Triple-A. The original from Lewisville (TX) had 81 PA connected 26 H, 8 2B, 2 3B and homered 4 while walking a whopping 13 times for a .382 / .481 / .735 / .353 / 1.217 statline. Larson added 15 DPs with a ZR of +3.6 in 174.1 defensive innings.
Always seen as a low-profile prospect, Larson is exploiding his opportunity, Sharkn20 has him as one of the candidates for D# IF replacement, and this award and how consistently he´s playing make the organization very happy as he never stood up over the rest in College.
Larson will start to get some reps at SS this week, hopefully he will develop as nice as at 2B to continue his progression.
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
Since aquired from Batavia at the end of 2014, Jerrod has filled the shoes of Pat Vonada with an "A+" note, despite that, seems that he´s Ranked the 15th 3B player on the BLB. This year so far Frost as hit a line of .271 / .323 / .373 / .696 / 103 / 0.6 WAR. Fielding he´s not doing bad at all with just 3 Erros in 272.1 IPs, 11 POs and 5 DP with a ZR of +0.7.
Our owner wants us to improve this position in order to achieve the goal, but I think the league has to Re-order the Rankings in order to give Frost the Top-10 position that he deserves.
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
2B Tom Maroney (A) goes 5/5, then gets the batter of the week Award.
Another home grown, Undrafted FA talent who wins an award on the minors this week. Tom joined the Sharks organization in the last day of 2014 to help the Peoria Roosters IF, since then he is growing and growing, believe it or not he´s listed the #76 prospect of the BLB right now.
Playing in Single A he was playing behind Barnard the last year Tom was a globe first player until this year when he really exploded offensively. Maroney is a good contact player who knows how to put the ball in play with elite base running, plus speed and able to draw a lot of pitches and balls. So far this year in 33 games he has 38 Hs, 5 2Bs, 2 HRs and 22 BBs, oh my gosh, yes 22 BBs against just 16 SOs adding 6 SBs.
With this kind of production Maroney will be called up to Frisco soon, where the next generation of Sharks are making themselves a name.
