Is that mediocre? He was never a star but I think he was better than mediocre most of the time.
Never ranked high at his position. Never very popular. Never an Alll-Star. His career OPS is sub .700. His OPS+ is sub 100. An amazing defender that played on a LOT of good Maine teams over the years.
