In the IL only looks like one lock, then some interesting things going on.
STOUT
Not our fathers Stout for sure. This division feels blah. With that, DV has a nice team its put together. Even the offense seems better then in the past which you would expect for a team built for the long haul. Wash might test them, but they are the class in the division. Washington? Of course the GM will pull some rabits out of the hat, but the offense is off to a slow start and while the pitching has been better there's only one ace and some overrated prospects. Best case sneak in the weak wildcard race or finish 3rd. Morgantown has a few things going for them. Decent pitching, 'Moondogs' no longer looks like a bomb, C-Todd R is finally playing the way he should and of course there's HIM (Hector Feliciano) A winning season could be in order. Seattle has a bright future, just not today.
BOCK
The monster divison. Love Carolina and off to a fast start which also means the OOTP gods will fuck with them, but for now this is the team to beat in baseball. Look for a 2nd half fall off and have bizarre injuries, but cruise to an easy division title. Davenport is solid not elite but very solid. I think they easily make the 1st wildcard spot. Windy City is playing way over its head. I expect them to fade out after Allstar break and win 74 games or something. Los Alamos........1st pick in the draft!!!!
PORTER
Always feels like I underestimate Baltimore, but with the sudden drop from Philly and an aging Batavia squad why fight it? Still not in love with the pitching staff, but they have enough offense to get it done. Going to shock value here and putting Philly at 2. There's no way this team is that bad. Won't threaten the division, but look for a last ditch move for a wildcard spot. Batavia will be in the mix, but settles to 3rd as they feel more like a team in transition at this stage. At last , but closing in will be Cali. I think they are a year away, but this terrible pitching will get even worse and finally doom them.
Wildcard
Wow its wide open. Just ripped Cali, but even they can make the wildcard this season. I suspect the Bock has one rep in Davenport and I'll pick Washington as a default #2 with the darkhorse being Philly. WC/ Cali/ Morgantown/ Batavia could also get in, but I don't think they have the horses.
