So Davon Charles. Hoping he can develop his Change up to around 5. In 10 starts he has struck out at least 8 in each game and allowed a BB in only 3 games. Has not walked a batter on the road. He also keeps the ball on the ground most of the time. In 211 career innings 28 walks and 270 K's Kinda sounds like Iron Fist early numbers huh

Perhaps I am reaching... greatly... but SYR selects "RF" BJ Brazeel.

I think he's the best hitter in the draft. I have some minor hope he may be serviceable in the OF with a little help. If not, he'll DH.

He's the other hitter I was going to take. I love his power and eye, but didn't like his defense, or lack thereof. That said, I would have considered him first overall, to be honest.

                Nice pick, Jake!

Very interested to see where the next few picks go, as of now there's still some real good pitching on the board

I still see a couple of interesting starters, but each of them has their flaws, as far as my scout is concerned. One stands out, but no chance I'd touch him this early.

Looking through the draftees and looks like HS baseball doesn't care much for bench clearing brawls:

                                15 games. Damn.
